What is a Live Crowdfunding Night?
A model, which combines donation and community building.
At a community donation event three selected teams representing social causes are introduced, and then people are able to make open donations of money and other offers to the issues they care about.
Participants get the chance to experience the power of community, can make a mutual impact on each other with the initiatives, and create social change in an informal, playful way.

THE BACKGROUND OF THE MODEL
Based on the UK model of The Funding Network, the Live Crowdfunding Night takes place in more than 25 countries around the world. Roots and Wings Foundation organises such events since 2018 and works on the dissemination of the model in Hungary.

Our Foundation provides financial and professional support for the launch and development of community initiatives through our support programmes. Our aim is to increase individual initiative and responsibility-taking, to strengthen trust and solidarity in society. To make Hungary a more accepting and liveable country.
