Péter Peták
Programme coordinator
My name is Péter Peták, and I have been working in the civil sector for over two decades. My mission is to support community initiatives and local leaders in community advocacy and sustainable civil operation through mentoring, training, and program development.
My experience in organizational and network development underpins my strong commitment to teamwork and institution-building. I consider motivating colleagues, fostering volunteer responsibility, and initiating new processes and structures to be key elements of my work.
I live in Pécs, where I have been involved in several defining civil initiatives, while also having worked long-term in the professional leadership of national organizations. Since 2017, I have been the Program Coordinator of the Emberség Erejével Foundation in Pécs, and in 2024 I joined the Roots and Wings Foundation’s Small Towns Program as an external expert.
