On February 1st, we are launching our ambassador campaign, where our outstanding ambassadors will share why they stand with us, what they believe we contribute to Hungary, and what it takes to continue this work for years to come. Support our mission—Together, We Can Give More!
For ten years, the Roots and Wings Foundation has been working toward a Hungary where diversity is valued, people care for one another, and communities take responsibility for shared causes. Our goal is to build a livable, just, and democratic country where collective action shapes society.
We seek out and unite with local heroes who are ready to take action even in the most challenging circumstances. We support them in creating change within their own communities, proving that democracy can work on a small scale, too.
What Have We Achieved in Ten Years?

- 71 supported organizations strengthening community initiatives
- 157 million forints in grants distributed to benefit local communities
- 25 “Living Giving” events, providing inspiration and financial support for important social causes
- 13 registered community foundations working locally for change
- 34 towns and cities where our support helps people take action for shared causes
A decade is not just a round number—it’s a milestone. As part of our anniversary celebrations, we are launching an ambassador campaign on February 1st, calling on all those who believe in the power of collective action to join us.
Our ambassadors boldly stand by the mission of Roots and Wings, sharing their stories, commitments, and creative ideas to demonstrate the strength of working together. Through their efforts, they help achieve our 2025 goals and ensure the foundation’s continued stability.
